Resolutions

Whether we realize it or not or admit to it we all purposefully or subconsciously make New Years Resolutions.  In my younger years my resolutions surrounded running into Justin Timberlake when he was front lining NSYNC*, falling madly in love, and getting married within the year.  Unfortunately, Jessica Biel beat me to it.

I didn't have any amazing feelings surrounding the past year and 2012 turned out to be filled with friendships, adventures, laughs, and millions of memories.  I have a great feeling that 2013 is going to consist of all of this and more.  It could be because my very lucky number happens to be the very unlucky '13.

Resolutions for 2013:

1- wear lipstick as often as possible
2- run a half marathon (I have 11 months to pull this off, no pressure)
3- do one new thing each month.

I'm well on my way to resolution number one and am taking no prisoners by wearing the brightest colors I can manage.

I've never been a runner but am off to a good start for the first 5k for 2013.  Color Run-Winston Salem is going to be pure amazement and I'm thrilled that we already have five people on our team.  Anyone else interested in signing up, come on!  The more the merrier.

January's new adventure is complete!  Britt and I took a spontaneous, last minute cruise to the Caribbean this past weekend.  I've never been on a cruise and I've never been to the Caribbean so it is the perfect way to start the New Year.  Look for an upcoming post on our adventures on the sea.

I wish each of you all the hope and blessings for the New Year!

Allergic Pup

Tucker's allergy results are in and he's ecstatic!  I know this is odd considering he's allergic to potatoes, barley, beef, rice, grass, and dairy.  He's thrilled because this is evidence that he can no longer eat dog food.  Human food only.  He's actually eating better than I am.  His dinner tonight included green beans, carrots, ham, and a banana.  If I have to feed him like a child, is there any possibility I can claim him as a dependent on my taxes?

Holiday Recap

WHAT??!!?  It's already 2013 and I've not had time to blog about all of the wonderful, crazy holiday parties I had the luxury of enjoying this past season.  I won't get into all of the details but I have a few key words that will, without doubt, prove to make you jealous.
